JOE UPDATE:
First thing is first! Joe is at GLA safe and sound! He is having some issues with his phone, so we have been talking and trying to resolve that w/ AT&T (can't believe how many times we talked with no other topic than phone issues.) Crazy... I knew more about his phone issues than I did how his trip was going.
He is staying at the Guest House this week, which is up the hill from the Main House (and had dinner there as well, so he hasn’t seen many people at GLA yet.) He did find out he will be working at Ft. Jacques (new orphanage) while he is in Haiti, and will actually move up there (staying overnight) next week. I am very glad to know he is safe! And hopefully he will also have access to wireless soon…
He texted me this morning and said he was heading up to Ft. Jacques. He said it was a cool, beautiful morning. But still a very BUMPY road on the way up there (for those of you who have been to Haiti, you know it well!) :-)
He also shared with me last night that he unloaded the 3 big duffle bags of donation items and the supplies were all VERY well-received! He took some pictures, so hopefully he can get those posted soon! Thanks again to everyone who supported GLA!
